Last Friday’s show was a big success. It was the largest turnout ever for a Third Friday show – estimated at about 150 people – a very appreciative crowd, and a perfect night for an outdoor show. Lee Hansen joined me on sax, flute, and backup vocals. I really appreciate everyone who came out, and especially thank Marcia Callaway-Ingram for once again booking me for the show. I’ve been looking for anyone with pictures but haven’t been able to find any, so I thought I’d post one of the newspaper clippings to the left that came out in two different local papers before the show. Feel free to click it for a larger copy.
My next show will be on the 30th at 4 PM for the 20th anniversary of Habitat for Humanity up in Gwinnett. I’ll be joined by Kristi Budd on vocals, Adam Coletta on guitar, Chris Kearney on drums, and for the first time John Willingham on bass. It’s a groundbreaking party with live music, water slides and moonwalks for children and refreshments for sale that benefits Gwinnett Habitat’s Annual Campaign. Click here for more information. I hope to see you there.
